DGI is Aquired by Stroz Friedberg

On January 5th 2009, the UK based forensics company DGI, Data Genetics International, was acquired by the US based company Stroz Friedberg.

The acquisition came despite the huge recession in both the UK and US, and perhaps indicates the strength of both companies. despite this terrible economic climate.

Stroz Friedberg, named afters its to co-Presidents  Edward Stroz and Eric Freidberg, will make Julian Parker one of the founders of DGI the CEO of Stroz Friedberg Ltd (a subsidiary of the parent company Stroz Friedberg, Inc which is headed by co-Presidents, Edward Stroz and Eric Friedberg) as part of the acquisition.

The acquisition is moving swiftly with the DGI website already redirecting to Stroz Friedberg. Interestingly a cached version of the  DGI website states that the acquisition completed on 1st December 2008.

Also of note is that Ed Wilding,  the long time CTO and co-founder (along side Julian Parker), left DGI around 9  to 12 months prior to this acquisition.

Please correct the above entry as Julian Parker is CEO of Stroz Friedberg, Ltd., a subsidiary of the parent company Stroz Friedberg, Inc which is headed by co-Presidents, Edward Stroz and Eric Friedberg.

    Much appreciated,
